Mullan Chakka
Mullan Chakka
Mullan Chakka, a miracle fruit called Sour Sop which is claimed to be highly effective for cancer treatments. It can kill cancer cells 100,000 times, more effective than chemo. Apparently, this is the same fruit that is called Mullan Chakka or Lakshmana Pazham in Malayalam, and is grown in Kerala.
The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp inside. used to make fruit drinks, sherbets and such. The taste is not bad after all. It’s completely natural and definitely has no side effects. The principal interest in this plant is because of its strong anti-cancer effects. A small erect tree grows up to 6 meters in height. Leaves are simple alternate, oval-oblong, glossy dark green colored, glabrous above and hairy below. Marunnu Kanji/Karkidaka Kanji.

special healing diet is taken during Karkidaka month called Marunnu
Kanji/Karkidaka Kanji. Karkidaka Kanji is a medicinal rice soup is a
traditional item of Kerala during the rainy days. These days you get
Karkidaka Kanji mix in ready made sachets, and also you can access the
ingredients & herbs. This tasty dish has a special effect in warding
off the monsoon fevers.
How to make;
Soak the fenugreek in water overnight. Boil Navara rice and fenugreek in water. Add Cumin seeds, Aniseed, Ayamodakam, Aashali, Dry ginger, Kurunthotti, Sathakuppa, Karimjeerakam, Cardamom, Thakkolam, Grambu, Nutmeg. When rice is almost cooked, add the second coconut milk to it. Boil well till rice is fully cooked, then add the first coconut milk. Add the salt and jaggery, stir it well.

Parvathi devi. Worshipping Mukkutti gives good health to Husband and
children (Bharthru puthra soukhyam). It is also used as medicines.
Mukkutti is a very special plant for Ganapathy. Mukkutti garland or
mukkutti as a whole (with roots) can be offered to Sri Mahaganapathy to
remove the obstacles. Mukkutti pushpanjali is a special ritual at
Malliyoor Mahaganapathy temple.
